Who Moved My Cheese is a cool book. The idea for this project is essentially cribbed wholesale from Tufte and R Markdown’s Tufte Handout formatSee tufte-latex.github.io/tufte-latex/ and rmarkdown.rstudio.com/tufte_handout_format This page is an adaptation of the Tufte Handout PDF.

Intro

“But what if there is no Cheese out there? Or even if there is, what if you don’t find it?”

This short book was recently suggested to me as the book for starting entrepreneurs. The book is about the story of 4 characters pursuing cheese in a maze.
Two characters, Scurry, Sniff, are mice that closely follow their instinct in search of cheese. Other two characters, Hem and Haw, are people, empowered by human intellect and emptions. The book tries to tell the story of how people usually respond to changes, through the lens of these four characters.

The book starts with the four characters running through the maze, in search of cheese until they all find a large block of cheese. This large block of cheese meant the four characters could now stop searching and feast on this massive block of cheese, at least until in lasts.
This continued until one day Scurry and Sniff left that block. A few days later Hem and Haw were shocked to find the block of cheese to be empty. Their reaction to this change was dismay and frustration.

The rest of the book tells the story of how each of these characters respond to these changes. From time to time, there are quotes in the book that are meant to be main take aways for the reader, for example of the quote reads:

Anticipate Change Get Ready For The Cheese To Move.

or,

Monitor Change Smell The Cheese Often So You Know When It Is Getting Old.
